OE photonics ’MEMS 1xN Optical Switch of is an optical switch based on MEMS (Micro Electromechanical System) technology, which allows channel selection between a single input light and N output lights. It has the characteristics of compact size, excellent durability and stable reliability. It is widely used in optical network fields such as OADM, OXC, OPM and so on.

Principle of optical path switching:
The optical 1xN switch is a non-locking product. When the voltage is removed, the mirror returns to the initial position and the input is uncoupled to any output channel. The principle of optical path switching is shown in figure below.
